Local park
Urban Design Guidelines for Victoria, published by the State of Victoria (Australia) in 2016, defines local parks as: ‘…green public spaces up to about one hectare in size and may include trees, grass, gardens and playgrounds and are located within easy reach of users. Some local parks also include water features, cafes or sports facilities. The location of a park in the movement network often influences its useability.’
